MEDICAL DISCOUNT CARD INFORMATION
If you are uninsured or have a high deductible insurance plan, the Medical Discount Card enables patients to receive quality healthcare at a significant cost savings. With added benefits, this card allows patients to receive additional discounts on medical care over and above what is given to patients paying out of pocket for services rendered at our urgent care clinics. A typical first time office visit is $180 without any labs, x-rays, or procedures being performed. Therefore, this discount card pays for itself in 1-2 office visits with a 12 month membership. The cost savings is enormous. This card is not intended to replace insurance, but does entitle patients to get medical care at discounted rates similar to those offered by major insurance companies.
If you have a primary care physician or a specialist that orders lab tests, x-rays, or splints, you can bring in your order form or prescription from your doctor and have the services performed at our clinic with your discount card and receive the discounted benefits offered.
Payment for the membership is automatically renewed and can be cancelled at any time. There is no refund once payment has been made.
We require a notice of cancellation of the membership prior to your next billing cycle. No refund is offered for payments made for the membership. There is no prorated amount for membership applications made at any time during the month.
If you have a high deductible insurance plan, we will not file insurance claims. The discount program helps those with this type of plan receive services at a highly discounted rate.
If you are wanting to add a child or dependent who is 18 years of age or older, that child or dependent should have their own membership as an individual member. Family members included in the Family Membership are children under the age of 18 years who live in the same household.
This card is valid for use ONLY IF SIGNED and a valid picture ID presented at the time of service. After your application is processed and payment made, allow 1 full business day to process the application. Your membership will be active 1 business day (Monday-Friday) after receiving the completed application and payment. Applications made on the weekend beginning Friday after 2pm will be processed the following Monday. Membership cards should be received in the mail in 2-3 business days after the application is processed.
In order to receive any of the benefits including the annual free flu shot, you must have a current active membership.
Applications and initial payment must be made online. Visit our website at www.mfmec.com to apply. Do not delay medical care waiting on the processing of your application. We do offer a substantial discount of 25% on most services at our offices.

THIS IS NOT INSURANCE. This discount card program contains an automatic renewal policy. Cancellation of the membership must be made prior to when automatic payment is made. Membership cards must be signed to be valid. This membership does not make payments directly to any Texas Hills Urgent Care Center for medical services. The member is responsible for paying for all healthcare services at the time of service, but will receive the above Memberfship Benifits or discounts from the participating urgent care centers.
