OUR MISSION:

Is to provide immediate and after hour medical care for the residents and visitors of the Texas Hill Country. To support our local physicians and other health care entities that are based in our local communities . To provide Occupational Health Services to our local employers and treat injured workers. To provide urgent medical services in a small fraction of the time and cost of the same care delivered in a hospital emergency room. To bring health care technology to the point of patient care to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality and most efficient health care.

OUR GOALS:

1. PROFESSIONALISM - We will strive to adhere to the highest professional competence levels so that the highest quality Urgent Care and Occupational Health Services are available throughout our hours of operation.

2. COST EFFECTIVE HEALTH CARE SERVICES - We will strive to keep our patients out of expensive emergency rooms. We will strive to intervene in the illness process at an early stage so that expensive complications are prevented. We will strive to prevent hospitalizations by treating patients on an out-patient basis, within the limits of sound medical judgment. When one of our patients require admission to a hospital, we will make every effort possible to arrange for a direct admission to a hospital room, again avoiding expensive and time consuming hospital emergency rooms. We will maintain the best in medications, diagnostic testing and proficiency of personnel to further this goal.

3. EXPEDITED DELIVERY OF HEALTH CARE WITH PRESERVATION OF HIGH QUALITY CARE - We will strive to make every effort to have patients seen by a physician within 15 minutes of their arrival to the Urgent Care Center. Depending on fluctuations in patient volume, this will not always be humanly possible, but nonetheless, this will remain our goal. We will adjust staffing, increase facilities, increase training and make every effort possible to obtain this goal a high percentage of the time. Whenever technologically possible we will use diagnostic laboratory and radiology equipment that allows for rapid delivery of services. We will evaluate every technology possible that can make our patients's visits more comfortable and less time consuming.

4. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SOLVENCY: We will only deal with the public and third party payers in an honest and forthcoming manner. We will expect the same from all. We will only maintain insurance contracts that serve to preserve the financial viability of our business so that Marble Falls Minor Emergency can continue to serve our community and employers.

5. HOSPITALITY AS A COMPONENT OF DELIVERY OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES: This not only includes maintenance of an attractive environment in our facility, but also a deliberate effort of every member of our staff to do everything within our ability to make every visit as enjoyable experience.

6. CHARITY CARE / COMMUNITY SERVICE: Marble Falls Minor Emergency Center has and will continue to do a limited amount of charity care within the financial abilities of a small business.
