OUR NEW ADDITION adds 5 more treatment rooms to allow for more efficient urgent care patient flow and space for visiting specialty physicians. It addition the facility now has a new state-of-the-art procedure room and a new breath alcohol/urine drug screening area, new CT scan suite and a new much larger medical laboratory. area.

Visiting Specialist:

Greg Vagner, MD. is a visiting orthopedic specialist, with a sub-specialty in hand and microvascular surgery, congenital and pediatric hand surgery, and general orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Vagner holds his clinic at MFMEC on Wednesday Mornings. Patients may make appointments by calling 1-866-719-2663.

Eugene P. Schoch, III, MD. specializes in sports medicine and knee replacement surgery and in the treatment of sports medicine injuries. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he also completed his residency. He is a Phi Beta Kappa honor graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Joel Hurt, MD. Dr. Hurt grew up in the Austin Area and graduated from Westlake High School in 1991. He later attended Baylor University and then UT Southwester Medical School in Dallas, graduating in the top quarter of his class. He completed his residency in orthopedics at Parkland Hospital. He furthered his training by completing an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at The University of Kentucky.

Michael Perkins, MD., MPH. is a visiting Occupational Medicine specialist. He acts is a consulting role to support our occupational medicine practice. He performs Designated Doctor Exams and Independent Medical Exams. These exams are requested by the the Workers Compensation Insurance Companies and by treating physicians on behalf of their patients. Both of these are very specialized roles in the delivery of medical services to injured workers. Prior to Dr. Perkins' coming to Marble Falls, injured workers had to travel to San Antonio, Austin or Temple for these exams.
