2009 School Vaccination Changes

Beginning in the 2009-2010 school year, additional vaccinations are required for Texas school children.

Children most affected are those entering Kindergarten, 7th Grade and College.

Additional vaccinations for meningitis and hepatitis A are now required for admission to Texas public schools. Please see:

Vaccinations for School Age Children:

  • All Childhood Vaccinations Available, most in stock
  • birth age vaccinations to those required for college
  • Accept most insurances (consult your carrier for coverage, some plans do not cover routine vaccinations)
  • Texas "Vaccines for Children" provider - program for uninsured and underinsured Texas children (those whose insurance does not cover vaccines) (At HCUC only)
