He has completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and was an assistant physician with several professional and college teams, including the Houston Texans, Houston Astros and the University of Houston Cougars.
Occupational Health - Michael Perkins, MD., MPH. is a visiting Occupational Medicine specialist. He acts in a consulting role to support our occupational medicine practice. He performs specialized occupational medicine evaluations and examinations. Both of these are very specialized roles in the delivery of medical services to injured workers. Prior to Dr. Perkins' coming to Marble Falls, injured workers had to travel to San Antonio, Austin or Temple for these exams.

Eugene P. Schoch, III, MD. specializes in sports medicine and knee replacement surgery and in the treatment of sports medicine injuries. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he also completed his residency. He is a Phi Beta Kappa honor graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
Joel Hurt, MD. Dr. Hurt grew up in the Austin Area and graduated from Westlake High School in 1991. He later attended Baylor University and then UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, graduating in the top quarter of his class. He completed his residency in orthopedics at Parkland Hospital. He furthered his training by completing an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at The University of Kentucky.

He performs Designated Doctor Exams and Independent Medical Exams. These exams are requested by the Workers Compensation Insurance Companies and by treating physicians on behalf of their patients.
